4. Baltimore Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette

Dan Duquette deserves a ton of credit for helping to make the Baltimore Orioles a perennial playoff contender.

So, what would they look like without him?

I think they would look very similar. You have to imagine that the Angelos family realizes that the way to win is something akin to what has happened over the last several years.

However, I don’t think Duquette is the only one who can provide that stability and that ability at turning questionable signings into great ones.

With some possible internal candidates to replace Duquette, guys like Brady Anderson or Brian Graham.

Maybe Cal Ripken Jr. would be an option.

The perception is that the Orioles have returned to being a top franchise where players want to come, and I think that would be the same in the front office.
