3. Takkarist McKinley – OLB, UCLA

The Ravens outer linebackers are getting old. Terrell Suggs is 34 and Elvis Dumervil is 32, they’re getting towards the end of their careers, and the Ravens need to address that position.

Takkarist McKinley seems like a player uniquely suited for the Baltimore Ravens defense. He’s a pass-rushing specialist who really took a major step forward at UCLA this past season.

He finished the year with 61 tackles with 18 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles and six passes batted down, which was a huge improvement over his previous season.

He’s got good size and above-average speed, he’d be perfectly suited as an OLB in a 3-4 defense, and that’s exactly what the Ravens need. He’d be a pretty solid pick at 16, or even better if he somehow falls to the second round of the NFL Draft.
