It’s well known that the Baltimore Orioles don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on one position in free agency. The team has many needs, and pitching is one of the biggest, the cheaper the better.

Much to the dismay of many fans, the Baltimore Orioles really haven’t done a whole lot in the free agency market this year. The team has so far really only addressed one of their needs, the catcher position, when they signed Welington Castillo.

One of the biggest needs that Orioles fans are keenly aware of is pitching, specifically starting pitching. The current Baltimore Orioles starting rotation is decent, but needs improvement, as evidenced by the team being tied for the 12th-worst ERA in the MLB last year.

While the team isn’t going to be spending a lot of money on one position, especially considering they still need an outfielder, there are some decent options available on the free agent market that shouldn’t be too expensive.

Here are five pitchers the Orioles should take a look at this offseason. These guys are all potential bounceback candidates, players who will likely be inexpensive as there concerns about them, but could pull out a solid season, a la Rich Hill.
