4. New York Yankees – Aaron Hicks, Carlos Beltran, Aaron Judge, Rob Refsnyder

Preseason prediction – 4th, Carlos Beltran, Aaron Hicks, Dustin Ackley, Slade Heathcott

I really wanted to put Jose Bautista here, because Carlos Beltran hit over .300. But, Aaron Hicks made the majority of the starts in right, and he hit below .200, as discussed previously. Aaron Judge also struggled mightily in his first time in pinstripes. So, the Yankees reside in fourth.

Beltran was an All-Star and was traded to Texas, and that makes this is a position of need for the Yankees moving forward. Beltran, as we are now accustomed, provided a lot of offense, but next to no defense for New York. So, in a way the replacement will be an upgrade already in one aspect. Hicks continued to prove he is AAAA player, so we will see if he gets another opportunity to start.
