Ravens Need to Establish Running Game

Who is the Ravens starting running back? That’s a question everyone in the league is wondering. Justin Forsett was said to be the lead guy heading into the season, but he ranks second in carries and yards through the first three games. Terrance West has done little to impress himself, totaling just 119 yards on 33 carries.

As we previously said, they rank last in yards allowed, but they are also 29th against the run. The Tennessee Titans rushed for 181 yards on the ground last week and Baltimore needs a performance like that to show some life from the running game.

Kenneth Dixon returned to practice this week and many feel he was the second-best back in the draft after Ezekiel Elliott. This could be the last chance for Forsett and West to take hold of the ground attack. If they cannot gain yards against the Raiders, some changes will be made.
