It is not often that John Harbaugh would get a chance to see his fringe players go against some of the NFL’s best, but he has to be delighted with the opportunity. He is trying to come up with the best 53-man roster that can match up against any team in the league.

We have seen several players surprise us throughout the preseason. Jeremy Butler has made some big plays. Matt Judon has gotten after the quarterback. Anthony Levine has gotten his hands on the ball. Now they get an opportunity to make those plays against stiffer competition.

Judon is going to get a chance to go against a starting tackle. As we said in the previous slide about Perriman, Butler will get a chance to take on a starting corner. Alex Lewis, a player battling for a starting spot on the offensive line, gets one more chance to show he is capable of handling the job.

There is a handful of guys that can make a case to stick around for at least another week with the Ravens. Make a play or two against the Saints’ starters and it is going to be difficult for the coaching staff to make a decision on the future.
