Ravens Game Day: 3 Things to Watch vs. New Orleans Saints
By Joe Serpico
Breshad Perriman to Make Debut
The 2015 first-round pick will finally don a Ravens uniform for the first time in a NFL game after missing his rookie season with a knee injury. He also has missed the first three preseason games due to a separate knee injury, but will have a chance to finally show coaches what he has to offer.
His last game came back in college at Central Florida on Dec. 26, 2014, and the Ravens want to have the speedy wide receiver used to playing against NFL talent before the start of the regular season. The Ravens hope to see Perriman line up against one of the Saints’ starting cornerbacks and see how he handles the pro game.
It is possible that Perriman plays the entire game so that he can get in as many reps as possible before heading into the regular season. It will be exciting to see the former first-round pick out there and he should make plays against lesser talent. The most important thing is that he leaves the game injury free and ready for Week 1 against the Bills.
