Baltimore Ravens: 10 Storylines 10 Days Before Training Camp

Left Guard Competition
Speaking of the offensive line, the Ravens have a hole to fill at left guard with Kelechi Osemele now an playing with the Oakland Raiders. It’s a wide open competition at the position and one that will be interesting with a rookie already set to start at left tackle.
The battle for the starting gig will be between John Urschel, Ryan Jensen, Vlad Ducasse and rookie Alex Lewis. None of these guys are capable of playing at the same level as KO, and the left side of the line could be vulnerable this season.
Still No Inside Linebacker Help
One position that everyone felt the team would address this offseason is the inside backer next to C.J. Mosley. The Ravens opted to move on from Daryl Smith this offseason despite three productive seasons with the franchise, but have yet to make a corresponding move to replace him. There have been reports that second-round pick Kamalei Correa could get a shot at inside linebacker and they added Cavellis Lucket as an undrafted free agent.
Zach Orr and Arthur Brown remain in the mix, but you would have thought a veteran presence would have been added to aid Mosley in the middle. Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees is putting a lot of pressure on Mosley and company to perform.
