It will not be easy for Brown to make this receiving corps. Steve Smith, Breshad Perriman, Kamar Aiken and Mike Wallace are all locks to make the team. That leaves one or two spots up for grabs for a handful of guys. But Brown gives the Ravens something the rest of the bunch does not: size and length to be a threat in the end zone.

The 6-foot-5 wide receiver turned some heads last season in preseason, and found his way on to the active roster after the injuries started to mount up. He hauled in a 52-yard touchdown in the game against the Miami Dolphins, but a phantom penalty negated the play.

He makes plays on special teams as well. He blocked a punt in the preseason finale that brought the Ravens back into the game, and caught the touchdown on the next drive. That’s the kind of effort he will need again to make this team.
