DE: Carl Davis – This is maybe the one shocker for the defensive line. Lawrence Guy could be an option, but Davis is too good to keep off the field.
NT: Brandon Williams – One of the most underrated nose tackles in the NFL, but hands down the best defensive lineman on this team.
DT: Timmy Jernigan
OLB: Terrell Suggs – A healthy Suggs is still one of the best pass rushers in the league.
ILB: C.J. Mosley – Two Pro Bowls in two NFL seasons. He will be the focal point of this defense.
ILB: Zach Orr – The team loves the undrafted free agent and did not make any moves for another inside linebacker. He will be tested in training camp, and a veteran addition once training camp cuts come around is a possibility.
OLB: Elvis Dumervil – He was not as effective without Suggs, but he too is one of the best at his position.
CB: Jimmy Smith – There is no question who is the best cornerback on this roster.
CB: Shareece Wright – You probably think I am nuts for this one, but Wright and Smith played like a top-10 unit in the second half of the season. He will get the first crack at the job, and hopefully this will not be a revolving door at the spot again.
S: Lardarius Webb – This is my pick for either Ravens Defensive Player of the Year or a complete failure. He is going to play a lot, and a lot of the secondary woes will depend on how he transitions to safety.
S: Eric Weddle – The top offseason acquisition in my eyes and the leader this defense needed.
