No. 3: Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge

It’s not often that a player makes a living in the NFL as a tight end by recording 44 receptions and three touchdowns in six years. It’s even more surprising that player leads the team in receptions and makes the Pro Bowl in his seventh season in the league.

Barnidge became a menace last season by scoring a touchdown in four straight games from Week 3 to Week 6. Ravens fans surely remember as he had his best game of his career against them by catching eight passes for 139 yards and a touchdown. He made a miraculous grab that he initially caught with his legs before securing it for the score.

He finished the year with 79 grabs for 1,043 yards and nine touchdowns, shattering his previous marks. He led the team in all of those categories while starting just 13 games. What many people around the league are wondering is if he can post those kinds of numbers again.

Cleveland has a group of undrafted free agents and later round picks behind him and no other major receiving threat on the roster except for rookie Corey Coleman. There is not much behind him that will scare opposing defenses if Barnidge is a one-year wonder.
