No. 2: Baltimore Ravens tight end group

The Bengals are No. 1 on the list because they have a young superstar in the making. The Ravens are second because they have a deep and talented group that will be tough for teams to defend. They have five tight ends on the roster that could make just bout any team in the league.

Ben Watson is the wily veteran that they brought in this offseason and is coming off a year in which he posted career highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns. That does not necessarily mean he is the top man in this bunch.

Crockett Gillmore was the starter most of last season and played admirably in his 10 starts. He caught 33 passes for 412 yards and four touchdowns last season, and was nearly unstoppable in the game against the Oakland Raiders last season.

Then there is Maxx Williams, who the Ravens moved up in the draft to select in the second round last year. The team is hopeful that he becomes the future at the position, and he had a solid rookie campaign with 32 catches for 268 yards and a score. He was the youngest player in the NFL last season which hopefully means there is a lot of room to develop.

Nick Boyle made plays last season, but will be suspended for the first 10 games of the year. That makes his spot on the team dicey. Dennis Pitta might be the biggest wild card of the bunch, but who knows if he will make the team this season. The Ravens do have some weapons for Joe Flacco to get the ball to and it remains to be seen how many of these guys stick around next season.
