Baltimore Ravens: 3 Storylines of Organized Team Activities

Breshad Perriman Returns
There is not a position more talked about in Baltimore than at wide receiver. The franchise has failed to produce a No. 1 target since their inception and everyone is hopeful that Breshad Perriman is the one that becomes the star this team desperately needs.
The offense struggled for much of last season because the team lacked a deep threat with Perriman out. They allowed Torrey Smith to leave in free agency, but without the home run threat. The offense was lacking that one key player. They traded for Chris Givens midway through the season, but he did next to nothing in a Ravens uniform.
This offseason they brought in Wallace. They also added another deep threat in fourth-round pick Chris Moore. Both are skilled, but Perriman’s size and speed make him a unique talent. Pairing him with Flacco’s long ball could make them a lethal combination.
Perriman took part in OTAs last season before suffering a knee injury on the first day of training camp. The injury was originally said not to be serious, but Perriman would miss his entire rookie season. Basically, this gives the Ravens one more rookie that will need to adjust to the NFL. Stanley might have been a higher draft choice, but Perriman will be more scrutinized.

There will be several other scenarios to watch in the upcoming days such as Webb’s switch to safety, who wins jobs at cornerback and the Ravens plan at middle linebacker. Without a healthy Flacco on the field, the offense is still the top concern.
