DT: Timmy Jernigan
NT: Brandon Williams, Carl Davis, Willie Henry
DE: Lawrence Guy, Bronson Kaufusi, Brent Urban
OLB: Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, Za’Darius Smith, Kamalei Correa, Matt Judon
ILB: C.J. Mosley, Zach Orr, Arthur Brown, Brennan Beyer
CB: Jimmy Smith, Shareece Wright, Will Davis, Tavon Young, Kyle Arrington
S: Eric Weddle, Lardarius Webb, Matt Elam, Terrence Brooks, Kendrick Lewis

The defensive line is stout and six players are locks to make the team in Jernigan, Williams, Davis, Guy, Henry and Kaufusi. I struggled with choosing between Urban and Kapron Lewis-Moore, but when it comes down to it, Urban has done more in his limited opportunities. Either could make the roster and it wouldn’t be a shock.

The pass rush was abysmal last season and that’s why the Ravens keep an extra outside linebacker this season. Suggs and Dumervil will get the most reps, and Smith will be the primary player to spell them. They will mix in Correa and Judon as the year progresses. The biggest question mark comes at inside linebacker where C.J. Mosley is the only sure thing. At this point of the offseason, Orr would be the starter next to Mosley. Brown, a second-round pick in 2013, has one more season to make a name for himself. Beyer makes the team because he’s the only other inside linebacker on the roster at this time. Could a free agent signing be in the works? We will see.

I wanted to leave a fifth corner off the list because of Webb being able to play both positions if necessary. That means that five safeties make the team, with Brooks and Lewis being fringe players. Arrington makes the group today, but this could change any day. This group remains a question mark entering the season, and bringing in a veteran corner at some point this offseason would not be a surprise.
