It is impossible to do a Ravens mock draft without having at least one Alabama player being on the team’s radar. Everyone knows that Ozzie Newsome is fond of players from his alma mater.

Cyrus Jones is a smaller corner at 5-foot-9, but he has the speed to be effective as a nickel corner. What he lacks in size, he makes up for it in toughness. He was one of the top defensive playmakers in the SEC, a conference known for having some of the best athletes in the country. Baltimore needs all the playmakers they can find on defense after finishing last in interceptions last season.

The Ravens are still looking for someone to cover slot receivers and Jones could be that guy. He also can return kicks, which should allow him to get on the field even if he needs time to develop on defense.
