I am sticking to my guns with this choice. Every season I tend to fall in love with one middle round wide receiver. Last season, it was Tyler Lockett, who turned out to be pretty good for the Seattle Seahawks. This year, that player is Sterling Shepard. It helps that they are the same type of player.

The Ravens would love to get more production in the middle of the field and Shepard thrives in that role. He is quick in and out of his cuts and almost impossible cover in the slot. Shepard is as sure-handed as it gets, dropping only eight balls in his collegiate career. Joe Flacco could use a player of his caliber as a security blank on hot reads.

Shepard would not be pressed into action immediately with Steve Smith, Breshad Perriman and Mike Wallace all with the team this season. They will need someone like him next season when Smith retires and Wallace basically signing a one-year deal. Shepard has a chance to be special in the slot, something the Ravens have not had in their 20 years of existence.
