Baltimore Ravens Schedule Breakdown
By Joe Serpico
Week 6: New York Giants – Oct. 16, 2016 (1:00 p.m.)
2015 Record: 6-10
Head-to-Head Record: 4-1
Last Meeting: Ravens 33 – Giants 14 (Dec. 23, 2012)
Ravens fans will always be thankful to the Giants for giving them their first Super Bowl win in a lopsided affair. That started the Ravens’ run of being perineal playoff contenders and one of the best franchises in the NFL since the turn of the century.
The Ravens will play at the Meadowlands in back-to-back weeks, and that is perfectly fine with them. Eli Manning has a career passer rating of 51.0 against Baltimore, the lowest against any NFL team. With a new head coach taking over for the Giants, few know what to expect from a team that won two Super Bowls in the past decade.
The Ravens have only two losses against the two teams from New York – they play in New Jersey, but that’s a topic for another day – which is a remarkable feat. That will be tough to do in consecutive weeks and the Giants are certainly the better team in New York.
