Baltimore Ravens Schedule Breakdown
By Joe Serpico
Week 4: Oakland Raiders – Oct. 2, 2016 (1:00 p.m.)
2015 Record: 7-9
Head-to-Head Record: 7-2
Last Meeting: Ravens 33 – Raiders 37 (Sept. 20, 2015)
The Raiders are a team to watch in 2016. With Peyton Manning out of the AFC West, the division is up for grabs. After years of being considered a wasteland for talent, they have built a solid young core and attracted some big free agents, including former Ravens offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele.
The Ravens traveled to Oakland last season and after trailing for most of the game, made a comeback in the fourth quarter to take the lead. Unfortunately, like much of last season, they squandered the lead late as Derek Carr found Seth Roberts in the end zone with 26 seconds remaining to jumpstart the Raiders season.
The Raiders will be a tough out if all the new talent gels together with last year’s bunch, but the Ravens remember how the Bay Area felt about beating them. The Raiders have never won in Baltimore (0-5), and this game will not be easy for Harbaugh’s bunch.
