Baltimore Ravens Schedule Breakdown
By Joe Serpico
Week 3: Jacksonville Jaguars – Sept. 25, 2016 (1:00 p.m.)
2015 Record: 5-11
Head-to-Head Record: 8-11
Last Meeting: Ravens 20 – Jaguars 22 (Nov. 15, 2015)
The Jaguars came to M&T Bank Stadium last year and stunned many of us when they pulled off a last second win. I know I was shocked. I was there.
It’s how they lost that does not sit well with the Ravens. The last play should not have counted as time expired, but the refs let the play go on. On the same play, Elvis Dumervil was called for a face mask penalty, which set Jacksonville up for a game-winning field goal to steal a win in Baltimore.
The Jags 5-11 record last season is deceiving because this team has talent on offense with Blake Bortles and the Allen Brothers (Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns). They also have the pick before the Ravens and could steal their guy from them. However, this is another game where the Ravens should pick up a win and move to 3-0 with another team that upset them last season up next.
