Baltimore really squandered their third and fourth round picks in 2006. P.J. Daniels caught the team’s attention with a 311-yard and four-touchdown game in the 2004 Humanitarian Bowl, and the Ravens made him a fourth-round choice.

Daniels did not play in 2006 and was placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the 2007 season. While the Ravens did have depth at the running back position when a Daniels arrived, you would think a fourth-round running back would impress enough to warrant at least one carry or a kick return in a regular season game. Daniels never sniffed the field.

If you want to make another comparison, Javorius Allen touched the ball 182 times for 867 yards this season as the Ravens fourth-round choice. Allen looks to have a future in the NFL, while Daniels was out of the NFL after the 2008 season. That makes him the worst fourth-rounder ever for the Ravens.
