Ronnie Stanley

Unlike Spence, there is no off-the-field issues that will keep Ronnie Stanley from being a first-round selection. It’s just that the Ravens need an impact player and Stanley isn’t that player.

Baltimore does have a hole to fill on the offensive line now that Kelechi Osemele is no longer with the team. Stanley has the skills to be a great tackle in the NFL and has the potential to get drafted in the top 10 picks. Mel Kiper linked the Ravens with Stanley in his first mock draft, and has him at No. 9 in his recent mock.

We cannot stress enough that the Ravens need a game-changer with their first pick. It’s not often that this organization gets a top-10 choice and they need to make the most of it.

This year’s class of offensive lineman is a deep group. An offensive lineman would not be a shocker in the second round, and that’s the move that was made in our mock draft. The Ravens need some help to keep Joe Flacco upright, but Stanley at No. 6 would be the wrong move.
