The Baltimore Ravens have announced their preseason schedule for the 2016 NFL season.

Mark your calendars. We have a date in which the Ravens will finally be back on the field.

John Harbaugh and his squad will take the field for the first time on August 11 and will host the defending NFC Champions, the Carolina Panthers. In Week 2 of the preseason, they will take on the Indianapolis Colts, which always is an interesting matchup for Baltimore fans.

The dress rehearsal is usually in Week 3 of the preseason, and the Ravens will welcome the Detroit Lions for that matchup. Former Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell is the head coach for the Lions.

The last preseason game will be a trip to where the Ravens won their last Super Bowl when they take on New Orleans Saints.

The Ravens know who their opponents will be for the regular season, but that schedule has yet to be released. The NFL typically releases the regular season schedule on the third Thursday of April, which would be two weeks from today.

As always, Baltimore will play the AFC North twice. They also will face off against the teams from the AFC East and NFC East. They will gladly welcome the teams from the east after a season in which they racked up plenty of flier miles heading out west. The furthest trip the Ravens will make in 2016 is a trip to Jerry’s World to take on the Dallas Cowboys.

Here is who the Ravens will play during the regular season:

Home:

Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
Oakland Raiders

Away:

Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Jacksonville Jaguars
