For many of the reasons we have the Ravens selecting Wright, they add another linebacker in the draft as well. Adding two players at the same position in the same round of the draft might seem far fetched, but there is a reason behind the madness.

This has been an organization that has thrived because of their play at inside linebacker. They already have Mosley, one of the bright young stars at the position, but after that, it’s a guessing game as to who will be the man next to him.

Dominique Alexander would have benefited from another year at Oklahoma, which makes him more of a project than Wright. However, he represents an upgrade over two undrafted free agents and the Ravens bust in the second round of the 2013 draft which is why they add two linebackers in the same round.
