Baltimore Ravens: 2015 Cornerback Grades
By Joe Serpico
After starting four games last season,
Rashaan Melvinwould only play in one game for the Ravens in 2015 before being released in mid-October. He was inactive in four of the team’s first five games and his Week 3 performance got him a ticket out of Baltimore. He committed two penalties and was beat badly for a touchdown in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Harbaugh benched him at halftime and that was the last we saw of him in purple and black.
The New England Patriots added Melvin and he appeared in eight games for Bill Belichick’s defense. He was released on Dec. 8, but the Patriots added him to their practice squad when no team put a claim on him.
