Super Bowl 50 just ended, but it is never too early to look ahead at who will be the winner next season. The Baltimore Ravens are 30-1 odds to win next year’s big game.

Future Super Bowl bets are one of the most popular in the gambling industry, and Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook wasted little time releasing their odds for next year’s Super Bowl that will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a season to forget. Nothing went right for them and their nightmare during the preseason became a reality as the season progressed. They lacked playmakers and depth, and the result was an injury plagued year that ended with a 5-11 record. That is all in the past as everyone starts the season with a clean slate.

Westgate placed the Ravens in the middle of the pack for a Super Bowl victory at 30-1 odds. For those of you that do not understand how that works, a $100 bet on the Ravens would earn you $3,000 if they win it all. That’s a fall from last season, when they had 16-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.

The numbers inside the AFC North are all over the place. It might make you sick to hear that the Pittsburgh Steelers are actually one of the co-favorites to win it all with 8-1 odds. The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots also have 8-1 marks, while this year’s Super Bowl contenders are both currently 12-1 to win the Lombardi Trophy.

The Cincinnati Bengals have a 14-1 mark, which is the seventh-highest odds of all 32 teams. Then there are the Cleveland Browns. Westgate has so little confidence in the Browns that they are a 200-1 odd to win. The next worst odds are 60-1 for the San Diego (or LA?) Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers.

Then, there are the odds for the Ravens to win the AFC. Obviously, without the NFC teams to compete against, the numbers increase. The Ravens are at 15-1 to win the conference, with the Patriots and Steelers being the biggest favorites to win the AFC Championship.

The Ravens have a lot to do this offseason. They have more needs than we have become accustomed to so Ozzie Newsome and John Harbaugh have their work cut out for them.
