Baltimore Ravens: 5 Potential Free Agents That Fit
By Joe Serpico
Prince Amukamara
The Giants are likely to do everything they can to keep Prince Amukamara, but many teams would be calling if he hits the open market. He has never become that shutdown corner that many expected when he was drafted in 2011, but teaming him with Jimmy Smith would give the Ravens a very respectable duo at corner that are also still in their prime years.
It will be interesting to see how much Amukamara is asking for this offseason. When on the field, he is capable of having games where he makes plays all over the field. He will also make mental mistakes that are costly. The real concern with Amukamara has been his ability to stay on the field. He has played in 55 of 84 career games, missing at least five games in every season except 2013.
Adding Prince would be an upgrade over the current crop of corners at the right cost.
