Baltimore Ravens: 2015 Defensive Line Grades
By Joe Serpico
Guy quietly had the best season of his career, playing in all 16 games for the Ravens. He finished the season third on the team in sacks, and his numbers this season nearly doubled his stats from the previous four years combined.
Defensive ends in a 3-4 do not usually generate a ton of pressure on the quarterback, but it was a welcomed addition for a Ravens pass rush that really struggled. He was terrific at the beginning of the season and it was needed with the loss of Terrell Suggs. His production tailed off towards the end of the year, but he recorded 1.5 sacks in the season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Guy is expected back with the team next season and will be entering the final year of his two-year deal. Another solid year like this one and he could be in line for a nice raise following the 2016 season.
