Along with Flacco being injured, Steve Smith Sr., Justin Forsett, and Terrell Suggs have been injured as well.
Smith was eyeing retirement after the 2015 season, but according many sources he will come back next year. “This injury doesn’t really say, ‘Oh, now I can’t come back,’ or ‘Oh, I don’t want to go out that way,’” Smith Sr. said.
Knowing Steve Smith and the fire that he has in his soul as a competitor, I personally feel that he will be back.
He also jokingly questioned the media about his “return”:
Steve Smith Sr, has been absolutely vital to the Ravens passing game the past couple of seasons. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to have him around for one final ride. The Ravens would easily welcome his production back to the club.
