Darren O’Day – 4 yr/33 mil (7, 8, 8, 9) RP
Ben Zobrist – 2 yr/18 mil (8, 10) LF
Denard Span – 2 yr/12 mil – RF
Pearce – 2 yr/8 mil (3, 5) – 1B/UTIL
Kyle Lohse – 2 yr/8 mil – SP
Mike Pelfrey – 1 yr/1 mil – SP/Long man
David Hernandez – 800K – RP
Again, not much of an upgrade here to the starting pitching. However, the lineup is one that will be much more of a lineup like Kansas City has. Guys who are on-base percentage guys, not power hitters. First base would be either Pearce or one of the catchers, or Trey Mancini. Lohse is not much of an upgrade, but maybe he could regain his pre-2015 form, where he won 10 games or more in four straight seasons.
