The Ravens should have an edge in the trenches on offense and need to get the running game going that was so vital a season ago. Marshal Yanda, Kelechi Osemele and the rest of the offensive line should be able to knock around the Jaguars defensive line at will and create some big plays.
Justin Forsett is averaging 70.3 yards per game after being the driving force of the offense last season. Those numbers are largely inflated due to two games with over 120 yards rushing, but it’s otherwise been a disappointing campaign coming off a 1,266 yard season.
A lot of that has to do with the fact that the Ravens haven’t held many leads this season and have been forced to pass. Trestman needs to attack the defense early through the air and then use the ground game to close out the game.
This is a game Baltimore desperately needs. The Ravens are the better team on paper, but that’s why they play the game.
