Blake Bortles had all the tools that NFL teams were searching for in a quarterback leading up to the draft. That is what everyone said about Blaine Gabbert as well. How did that turn out for Jacksonville?
This is a different quarterback. Bortles has shown improvement in every start and could be the long-term answer that the franchise has been yearning for. He’s surrounded win young playmakers and is getting them the ball.
He’s still a young quarterback that does make mistakes and that was evident last week against the Jets. Bortles threw two interceptions and also fumbled twice, one of which was recovered by te defense. The Ravens have struggled to create turnovers as well, but need to on Sunday.
