The Jaguars hired Gus Bradley from the Seattle Seahawks hoping that the former defensive coordinator would be able to turn around the franchise’s struggles on defense. That hasn’t been the case as the Jags rank 30th in points allowed at 29.4 points per game.
Jacksonville is lacking a playmaker on defense and it has showed as they also rank 30th in turnovers. The defensive line has done a solid job of getting to the quarterback, but haven’t been able to make the plays on critical third downs.
This is a game in which the Ravens offense could have an opportunity to flex their muscle. It’s been an inconsistent offense to say the least and are lacking firepower at the receiver position. This could be a perfect game for Marc Trestman to allow those receivers to gain some confidence as they will be tested the rest of the way.
