This will be a game that will battle the Ravens strength as the Rams have arguably the most dynamic running back in football in Todd Gurley. The rookie has exploded onto the scene and is proving everyone that Jeff Fisher did not make a mistake taking him with the 10th pick in the draft. The Ravens counter with one of the top rushing defenses, led by Brandon Williams, who was named Defensive MVP in our October awards.

The Rams defense is stout as well, ranking fourth in yards against. They have already picked off 13 passes, three of which were returned for touchdowns. They have also forced nine fumbles and feature one of the deepest defensive lines in football. Safety Rashad Johnson has four interceptions and a fumble recovery, in addition to 28 tackles and five passes defended. In short, this defense is no joke.

The Ravens have been guilty of turning the ball over quite a bit – Flacco has thrown eight interceptions – and this is not a team that you can serve up balls to or they will take it for points. This will be the Ravens toughest test during their upcoming three-game home stand and should be a good barometer to see where they stand the rest of the way.
