Take Back Home Field Advantage

M&T Bank Stadium has historically been known as a place that opposing teams struggle to find wins. That has not been the case this season as the Ravens have lost both games at home this season. To make it worse, both of those losses came against divisional foes.

The Chargers are one of those teams who are not worried about the home field advantage because they came into Baltimore last season and nearly ended the Ravens playoff hopes. Rivers led his team to a 21-point fourth quarter to get a 34-33 win, capped off on a 1-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Royal with just 38 seconds remaining.

It will be interesting to see how Ravens fans embrace their team on Sunday. It’s been some time since the Baltimore faithful has booed their Ravens, but a few bad series and we might hear some ruckus in the stands. The Ravens are home for the next month, and the key to getting out of the basement of the division will be winning those home games. The organization needs to take back the edge at home, and that’s starts by forcing Rivers to make mistakes.
