This is going to be one of those match ups that every football fan is going to want to watch. On one side you have Steve Smith, the smaller, but tough receiver that uses his shiftiness and tenacity to make plays. He is off the another fantastic start this season with 36 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns. Don’t worry about him getting traded either, as he told reporters he would quit if that came to fruition.
On the other side of the ball is Patrick Peterson, who is one of, if not the best cornerback in the game. He excels at press coverage in will likely follow Smith wherever he lines up. He will do everything that he can to disrupt the Ravens timing on offense and limit portions of the field. He is one of those players that is capable of hurting a team if they
Smith has easily been the Ravens top playmaker on offense this season, but he hasn’t gone against a player of Peterson’s caliber. For the offense to have any success against the Cardinals, they have to find a way to get the ball into Smith’s hands.
