Outlook:
There were decent expectations forRichard Pitino‘s Minnesota Golden Gophers last season. However, they didn’t live up to them. This time around, the expectations aren’t quite as high.
Pitino lost a great deal of his leadership from a season ago and with the exception of Morris and King, he’ll be relying on his freshmen and sophomores for production.
On paper, this could be a decent team, but expect the inexperience to ultimately hold this team from being a factor in the Big Ten this year.
