Baltimore entered the regular season knowing that their top offensive weapons would both be over the age of 30. Steve Smith Sr. has been very impressive all season long, but the same cannot be said about Justin Forsett. He has struggled for the most part to start the season, but came alive once Smith went down with a back injury.
The Ravens offense is more effective when the running game is working and that was apparent in the win over the Steelers. Forsett had his best game of the season, rushing for 150 yards on 27 carries, which both were better numbers than he had put up in the previous two weeks combined. He is even more critical to the offense with Smith out on Sunday and no other real threat on the outside.
Forsett is licking his chops, however. Cleveland ranks 31st against the run, allowing 141.5 yards per game. In a game that Baltimore needs him most, he will be going against one of the softies run defenses so expect him to get 25 or more touches this week. Lorenzo Taliaferro and Buck Allen will get their share of touches, but expect Forsett to have another big game.
