Establish a Running Game
Justin Forsett was a revelation last season that saved the Ravens rushing attack after the team parted ways with Ray Rice. Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro were given opportunities to take the job, but it was Forsett who literally ran away with the job.
Many questioned what she Forsett would be a one-hit wonder entering the 2015 season and so far, he’s been a major disappointment. He’s averaged just 41.3 yards per game so far and has zero touchdowns to his credit. As a team, Baltimore is averaging only 3.3 yards per carry.
Some fans have been lashing out at Marc Trestman for not being more balanced, but what is he supposed to? His ground game has been ineffective, while Joe Flacco has found some success throwing the ball. He’s going to go with what works on any given Sunday. It also doesn’t help that the Ravens have essentially played from behind the entire season.
