Start:

  • Odell Beckham Jr., Giants (vs. Atl): OBJ should feast against an Atlanta defense that gave up the fifth-highest yardage to opposing receivers in Week 1. Look for him to get targeted early and often.
  • Julio Jones, Falcons (at NYG): Jones seemed to be a man among boys against the Eagles and he’s probably licking his chops, knowing the Giants are next on the slate. They gave up the second most receiving yards last week.
  • Jarvis Landry, Dolphins (at Jac): Landry started the season off pretty strong and with a favorable matchup with Jacksonville, he should continue his success and put up good numbers in Week 2.

Sit:

  • Jeremy Maclin, Chiefs (vs. Den): Denver gave up the fewest yards to opposing receivers and are capable of locking down Maclin. They won’t completely shut him down, but he likely won’t be able to put up big numbers.
  • Amari Cooper, Raiders (vs. Bal): Don’t even look at Cooper this week, especially without Derek Carr in the lineup. The Ravens will keep his point total rather low.
  • Andre Johnson, Colts (vs. NYJ): Johnson’s Colts debut was quite uneventful. Maybe things will change at home, but we’re not counting on it.

Waiver Wire Pickups:

  • Brandon Coleman, Saints: Coleman was a surprise in Week 1 and with his size, should become one of Brees’ favorite targets.
  • Tavon Austin, Rams: He’ll need to prove he can be consistent, but his performance against Seattle was promising.
  • Cole Beasley, Cowboys: With Dez Bryant out for a bit, Beasley should reap the benefits.
