Start: Andy Dalton, Bengals (at Oak)

Some people aren’t a fan of Dalton, but he has a favorable Week 1 matchup, going against the Oakland Raiders. He wasn’t a hot commodity in drafts this year, but he’s in line for a big day. The Raiders have a much improved defense, but there are still some concerns in the secondary. With all of the weapons Dalton has at his disposal, he should be able to put up a solid stat line.

Sit: Josh McCown, Browns (at NYJ)

This one wasn’t very hard. The Browns just aren’t going to be very good in 2015. Without Josh Gordon, the options are certainly limited for McCown to get the ball to. As a result, expect a heavy dose on the ground for Cleveland. Also, the Jets are projected as one of the up-and-coming defenses this year, so this matchup is not looking good at all.

Start: Sam Bradford, Eagles (at Atl)

Surprised to not see Aaron Rodgers here? That’s a given. No one should have to tell you to start him. Bradford is a guy to keep an eye out for this week. The Falcons’ defense is nothing to write home about and the Eagles have some weapons. Bradford has looked good this preseason and the success should carry over against a below-average defense.

Sit: Russell Wilson, Seahawks (at StL)

Not a huge fan of Wilson this week. It’s not as much of a knock on him, as it is a testament to the Rams’ defense. St. Louis should have a top-10 defense this season and it being a home game for them will play a factor. The crowd will be into it and Wilson will struggle a little bit. Don’t get caught up in the name. Proceed with caution.
