Kapron Lewis-Moore

After two years of injuries that prevented the former Notre Dame defensive from getting on the field, Lewis-Moore has a shot to make the Ravens roster for the first time. Lewis-Moore has had an up-and-down preseason so far and doesn’t seem to have the explosiveness following his recent Achilles injury.

His play against the Redskins earned him a rating of plus-2.5 by Pro Football Focus, which was second-best for a Ravens defender. He had four tackles in the game, the only tackles he has made this preseason. He was a non-factor in the previous two games, but with the injury to Urban, Lewis-Moore could benefit from that roster spot being available.

Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com wrote a piece about how important this game is for Lewis-Moore. He is in a battle with several veteran defensive ends for one of the final roster spots, but if he can continue to play like he did against the Redskins, he should make the squad.
