Defensive Line (6)
DE: Chris Canty, Lawrence Guy
DT: Timmy Jernigan, DeAngelo Tyson
NT: Brandon Williams, Carl Davis
The obvious names are Williams, Jernigan, Davis and Canty. After that, it is a toss-up. I am giving Tyson and Guy the edge based on their experience with the team.
Davis has shown his versatility this preseason, playing both defensive end and inside for the Ravens. That is exactly why some compared him to Haloti Ngata coming out of the draft.
I was big on Kapron Lewis-Moore entering the offseason, but the former Notre Dame standout does not look to have the explosion off the line he once had after tearing his Achilles tendon. Brent Urban suffered a biceps injury and could return down the road, but remember, we are predicting the Week One roster here.
It is important to remember that the Ravens use a 3-4 defense, but will occasionally go with four down-lineman on passing downs. The Ravens outside linebackers are the ones who do most of the pass rushing.
Next: Linebackers
