There is not much for debate here as the Ravens have only kept two quarterbacks on the roster for most of the John Harbaugh era and that will remain the same this year. Flacco is the unquestioned starter that has not missed a game since entering the NFL.
Barring a complete meltdown by Schaub in the remaining preseason games, his job as the backup to Flacco should be safe. Harbaugh has defined his quarterback this preseason, and the Ravens made a solid investment in the former Pro Bowler with a guaranteed $2 million contract.
While Schaub has struggled in camp, Bryn Renner was out of football a year ago and is destined for a role on the practice squad.
