Week 8: San Diego Chargers – Nov. 1, 2015 (1 p.m.)

2014 Record: 9-7
Head-to-Head Record: 5-5
Last Meeting: Ravens 33 – Chargers 34 (Nov. 30, 2014)

The Chargers came into Baltimore last season in Week 13 and Philip Rivers was as cerebral as ever in the contest. With San Diego trailing, 23-13, entering the fourth quarter, Rivers led the Chargers to three touchdowns, including a one-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Royal with 38 seconds left to seal the win. The loss put a serious dent in the Ravens playoff hopes, but fortunately, it was San Diego who missed out on the postseason with a Week 17 loss that allowed Baltimore to get the final playoff seed.

Jacoby Jones was cut by the Ravens for financial purposes this offseason, and signed with the Chargers on a two-year, $5.5 million deal. His effort in the Ravens Super Bowl run will never be forgotten, and the dynamic returner should receive a standing ovation when he takes the field for the first time back in Baltimore.

This could be your last opportunity to see Rivers in a Chargers uniform as he enters the final year of his deal and there are rumblings of a potential departure if the club moves to Los Angeles. This closes out the first half of the season for the Ravens and they will be hopeful to enter the bye week with a winning record.
