Week 5: Cleveland Browns – Oct. 11, 2015 (1 p.m.)
2014 Record: 7-9
Head-to-Head Record: 24-8
Last Meeting: Ravens 20 – Browns 10 (Dec. 28, 2014)
In the final game of the 2014 season, Baltimore earned its wild-card card berth by defeating the Browns, 20-10, and getting the help they needed halfway across the country. The Kansas City Chiefs helped the Ravens get into the playoffs for the sixth time in seven years with a 19-7 win over the Chargers.
The Ravens did not play one of their best games, but did not need much with Connor Shaw making his debut at quarterback for Cleveland. Baltimore actually trailed, 10-3, until a 17-point fourth quarter took care of the Browns and earned them a postseason berth. The win improved Harbaugh and Flacco to a 13-1 record against the Browns.
The Browns enter this season with questions at quarterback once again, but Head Coach Mike Pettine is hopeful for progress in his second year in Cleveland. The Ravens will need success in their AFC North matchups because the next two weeks are spent on the road in the West Coast.
