Week 2: Oakland Raiders – Sept. 20, 2015 (4:05 p.m.)

2014 Record: 3-13
Head-to-Head Record: 7-1
Last Meeting: Ravens 55 – Broncos 20 (Nov. 11, 2012)

To say the Ravens have owned this series is an understatement. The Raiders lone win came in 2003, but other than that, Baltimore has demolished Oakland by a total score of 193-96 in the eight games between the two teams.

The Raiders are coming off a 3-13 season, but the record does not do them justice in terms of effort. The Raiders battled with some teams down the stretch, but also had lapses where they looked down right pathetic. They are expecting better things in 2015 with another year of experience for Derek Carr, and the selection of Amari Cooper in the first round, but Oakland should not put up much of a fight in a strong AFC West.

The Week 2 meeting with the Raiders could be a blessing for the Ravens if they should falter in Week 1 at Denver. However, Coach Harbaugh would feel confident coming home and entering divisional play with a 2-0 record if the Ravens can squeeze out two road wins to start the season.
