We all know about Deflategate and not only its impact with the Ravens, but throughout the league. The Indianapolis Colts are still hearing about it. It was a topic of discussion with the Seattle Seahawks leading up to the Super Bowl. It’s still being talked about today.

It has been six months since the controversy began and there was still no sign of it coming to an end soon. Just this past weekend there were reports that Ravens Owner Steve Bisciotti has been lobbying for the NFL to not reduce the four-game suspension for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Bisciotti has denied the statements, but did hint that he thinks the matter needs to come to a close.

“Let’s talk about football and the start of training camps. Fans and people like me want the issue resolved now.”

He got his wish Tuesday afternoon when the NFL upheld Brady’s four-game suspension. The entire league is happy that New England has been punished. That’s the Patriots problem now, and the Ravens had their own issues to take care of internally.
