Defensive end Brent Urban missed all of last season after suffering an ACL injury during training camp. He has practiced the entire offseason, so he’s shown no sign of slowing down as he seeks out a starting position during training camp.

His concern will be remaining healthy. Training camp is an important time for him as the season he missed was his rookie year.

Kapron Lewis-Moore is another defensive end who eyes staying healthy. He tore his Achilles during last year’s training camp, but he has started his comeback by practicing throughout the offseason program. He is expected to be on the field when training camp begins.

He suffered a major injury his rookie season as well. As he competes for a position, his main objective has to be staying healthy. Similar to Urban, he has not been on the field for a real game in career. For him, he is already in his third year in the NFL and never played in a regular season game.

Lewis-Moore and Urban are ready to make an impact on the team, but they first have to stay healthy after missing each season in their career to this point.

Linebacker C.J. Mosley had wrist surgery after his rookie season, during which he put up incredible numbers. He recovered fully from the procedure and spent the majority of the offseason on the sidelines.

The second-year linebacker should get back onto the field at some point during training camp. He has the benefit of not having to worry about competing for a position. He proved himself last season and is a starter.

His surgery was not supposed to cause him to miss training camp or any part of the regular season.
