Big Ten Football: 5 Impact Freshmen for 2015
WR Will Ulmer, Maryland

This one may come as a surprise to some people, especially those who actually follow Maryland football. However, considering this kid’s pedigree, no one should be shocked.
Ulmer redshirted his freshman season due to a logjam at wide receiver for the Terps. The former Under Armour All-American should have plenty of opportunities to shine in 2015 thanks to a depleted Terps receiving corps.

Ulmer began his college career as a quarterback, but the coaches saw more of a need for him at receiver, particularly because of his amazing speed. He is arguably one of the fastest players on the team.
Getting the opportunity to learn from former NFL star Keenan McCardell, who is the Terps’ wide receivers coach, should work in his favor. With his speed and athletic ability, Ulmer should have no problem getting on the field in some capacity and he’s bound to have a breakout season.
