Dwayne Haskins Jr. is a Terp: Fans and Media React
The Maryland Terrapins are rolling right now and the recent signing of four star QB Dwayne Haskins Jr out of Bullis High School has Terps fans excited and the media buzzing.
The 2016 recruit chose the Terps over Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Virginia Tech and Penn State. Haskins Jr. is ranked 25th in ESPN”s top 300 players and is a huge steal for the Terps at a position that is going to be much improved once Haskins Jr. is eligible to play. Terps fans and media reacted to the news and people are very excited about the teams latest recruiting snag:

Trevon Diggs, the younger brother of Stefon Diggs is still up for grabs as well for the Terps. Haskins Jr. says that he and Diggs are a packaged deal, but Diggs has not yet made his commitment decision final. The 6’1 wide receiver and cornerback has offers from 18 schools, but his top five according to Rivals.com are LSU, Rutgers, Clemson, Auburn and Maryland. The guy has 4.4 speed and it helps that he has the length to play both wide receiver and cornerback. View his highlights here.
The curent quarterbacks on the roster are: Shane Cockerille, Perry Hills and Caleb Rowe. Dwayne Haskins Jr. is going to make things interesting when he comes to College Park in 2016. In the meantime, here are some highlights to show that the Terps got a great player to play for them at quarterback.
